Colors, patterns & TextureS

Hey there, I’m glad you’re here and think you need my help but I promise this is the easiest part of our session. Don’t get overwhelmed by colors and the Pinterest inspiration you’ve saved. It’s really as easy as 1, 2,3…

  1. Choose your base color. Make sure each family member wears different shade of your base color. I recommend choosing up to two colors for families of 5 and up.

2. Add patterns; florals, strips, polka dots, etc.

3. Add texture; ruffles, linen, knit, lace, etc.

1 color. Shades of pink. Simple.

1 base color. Shades of blue. Ruffle textures. 1 pattern. (I would have suggested two members wear pattern for a family of 5 and up.)

2 colors. 2 patterns. 2 textures. Bold.

And we are done! You made it!
